+ New skater: snap their picture (or let them take a selfie), then hand them the phone. They type their name (and a skate name, their style and a song, if they like), tap Roll me in!, and get a welcome. When they hand it back, hold the button for a moment to finish (holding keeps a quick tap from closing it by mistake). Their card opens, so you can add How I'll remember.
Set Tonight at to the rink when you arrive, and everyone you add gets it with tonight's date. A skate night counts until 5 am. 👋 Saw them tonight on a skater's card notes you saw them again.
Flash cards show a face to name. Flip: think of the name, then check (Got it or Not yet). Pick the name: four to choose from. Each skater you get right comes back later and later (tomorrow, then 3 days, a week, two weeks, a month, two months); a miss brings them back tomorrow.
It all works at the rink without a signal: new skaters are saved on the phone and go up by themselves when there's a connection, and every photo is kept on the phone once it's been seen there.

Choose a backup from the My Skaters backups folder in Google Drive (download it first; the .json.gz file is read as it is). Skaters missing here come back, with their photos; nobody already here is changed. You'll see what it will do first.
